1. Tell us a bit about yourself and how you came to be part of this business.
I’ve been part of the Beds R Us Runaway Bay team for four and a half years, and I’ve worked in the bedding industry for more than 30 years. During that time, I’ve gained extensive experience in bedding, product development and design, so I love helping people find the right bed for their needs. With my background, I can guide customers through the process and make buying a new bed simple and stress-free.
2. What do you love most about running or working in this store?
The best part of my job is educating our customers and helping them understand what will work best for them. Everyone sleeps differently, so I enjoy taking the time to learn what they’re trying to achieve and matching them with the right bed the first time. Seeing customers leave feeling confident in their choice is incredibly rewarding.
3. What’s your favourite product in the store and why?
Without a doubt, my favourite product is our adjustable beds. I’ve personally slept on one for more than ten years, and I wouldn’t be without it. I hardly move while I sleep, and it has given me some of the best night’s sleep I’ve ever had. I genuinely believe everyone should experience the comfort and support an adjustable bed can provide.
4. Can you share a memorable customer story or a moment?
One of the most rewarding moments is when customers come back to tell us how much better they’re sleeping after following our advice. Hearing that we’ve helped improve someone’s sleep and overall wellbeing is always a highlight and reminds me why I love what I do.
5. When someone visits your store for the first time, what experience do you hope they walk away with?
I want every customer to leave feeling informed, confident and excited about their purchase. We pride ourselves on offering exceptional service, honest advice and the expertise that comes from more than 30 years in the bedding industry.
